Most memorable military Experience:I served as a Marine Infantry Platoon Commander in Vietnam with Kilo Company Third Battalion First Marines 1967-1968. Participated in three combat operations (Fortress Ridge, Badger Tooth, Badger Catch) in Quang Tri Province just south of the DMZ. Was wounded by 130mm Soviet Artillery lost left eye and medically retired as a Second Lieutenant . I can say my most memorable experience is having the honor of leading Marines in combat. It was an experience I would not change for anything, stays with me always and has been a positive influence on my life. Have produced an award winning video entitled “Vietnam: A Marine Perspective”.
