Narimasu High School Class of ’61
U.S. Navy
I was stationed in San Diego, California at the Destroyer Base (32nd Street) in the Legal Office. It was the greatest experience of my life. I was so very proud to wear the uniform of the United States Navy and to serve our country. I was active during the Cuban Missile crisis and I was so glad that I could play a part, however small, in protecting our country during this difficult time.
Most memorable military Experience: I would also say that my most memorable experience was being chosen to represent the Waves at a memorial service for John F. Kennedy right after his assasination in 1963.
